CALM is a registered District of Columbia nonprofit corporation that is in the process of applying for recognition of tax-exempt status as a charitable organization.  CALM’s success is dependent upon its ability to fund its activities.  Contributions of any size are appreciated.  If, as we expect, the Internal Revenue Service recognizes the status of CALM as a 501(c) (3) public charity, the full amount of your contribution will be treated as a charitable contribution that is deductible in accordance with federal income tax law.
